Creative EDC specializes in unique, distinct economic development consulting. Our firm’s approach is tailored to bring innovation to each community. We believe there are no templates in economic development – we like to color outside the lines.

Creative EDC consults on strategic planning, organizational development, target marketing, business retention and expansion, product development and the many facets of a dynamic economic development program including site selection and policy development. Since its founding in 2012, Creative EDC has expanded its consulting practice to include social media and e-marketing services and launched CreativeSiteAssessment.com, a first-in-the-nation product development tool.

Creative EDC and Applied Marketing have partnered on numerous projects for county and regional economic development organizations (EDO) and statewide organizations. Our partnership has created winning business recruitment strategies for communities of many sizes.

Sanford Holshouser Economic Development Consulting, LLC was formed with experienced local, regional, and state economic developers who have firsthand experience siting new facilities, retaining existing businesses, developing product, managing EDOs, and marketing. Our approach is different because we are economic developers. We are focused on implementation and results for our clients from the beginning of every project.

Sanford Holshouser offers a full range of economic development consulting: site selection, economic development planning, and public policy analysis.

We specialize in helping EDOs with strategic and action planning; product development; organizational and operational consulting; recruiting; business retention and expansion; and return on investment analysis. Our site selection work has included corporate headquarters, manufacturing, and distribution.

Courtney leads the firm’s work in real estate development, impact analysis, and programs for the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. She specializes in policy and qualitative analysis, leading ecosystem analysis, strategic planning and research projects focused on innovation, industry and talent, and designing policy recommendations in economic and real estate development. Her clients include a range of investors, not-for-profits, developers, industry executives, state agencies, regional and local economic development organizations, planning organizations, city/town governments, and private companies. Courtney is a Certified Economic Developer.

Courtney is co-founder of a comprehensive site certification program called Verisite. This proprietary program creates narrative around in-depth market research and analyzes human capital components in order to provide decision-makers with reliable data that compensates for industry gaps, such as brownfields and existing buildings. Verisite team provides a unique and calculated perspective in economic development strategic planning and site evaluation, offering economic developers, organizations, property owners, developers, and communities a new, trustworthy team that utilizes a myriad of expertise to support clients’ work.
